What are Invisalign® Clear Braces?
Invisalign® clear braces are a series of custom-made aligners that are transparent and comfortable, so you can enjoy the process of straightening your teeth — and feel proud of the results.
Thanks to Invisalign® clear braces, you now have options for straightening your teeth without the inconvenience of traditional metal braces.
Benefits of Invisalign®
Despite the many benefits of having straight teeth, traditional braces have led people to avoid straightening their teeth.
With Invisalign® clear braces, you can have straighter teeth without the hassle and discomfort of traditional braces.
Why are straight teeth important?
- The spacing between your teeth matters. When there’s too much or too little space, your gums can become damaged, which may lead to infection. Having straight teeth can help keep your gums healthy.
- Overcrowding isn’t just a cosmetic problem; it impacts dental health. Overcrowding can provide more places for food to get stuck while at the same time making it more difficult to brush and floss. This combination can lead to decay and other dental health issues.
- When teeth are crooked or overcrowded, they can place additional stress on the gums and jaw. This can lead to everything from jaw pain to headaches.
- Crooked, overcrowded, or misaligned teeth often take on additional stress. This can lead to damage, including cracks or breaks.
Invisalign® clear braces offer faster results
Traditional braces are known for being a long process — sometimes taking as much as two years or more. Invisalign® clear braces offer faster results and in some cases, the treatment is complete in just six months. Perhaps, best of all, you can enjoy having straighter teeth within weeks of beginning the Invisalign® process.
Invisalign® clear braces are easier to maintain
Invisalign® clear braces can be removed for easy cleaning of your braces (aligners) and your teeth! Remove the aligners when it’s time to brush and floss, and rinse your aligners at the same time. You can gently brush them with the same toothbrush for easy maintenance.
With Invisalign® clear braces, you can eat what you want
Invisalign® clear braces have done away with one of the biggest hassles associated with teeth straightening procedures – eating!
Instead of watching everything you eat and checking mirrors after mealtimes, you can simply remove your aligners at mealtimes. This allows you to continue eating your usual diet throughout your entire treatment.
Invisalign® clear braces are more discrete
One of the reasons people want straighter teeth is to feel better about their smile. So why wear traditional metal braces that make you want to cover your mouth when you laugh?
Invisalign® clear braces are virtually invisible, and most people will never notice you’re wearing them.
How Does Invisalign® Treatment Work?
If you’re curious about Invisalign® clear braces, call Future Of Dentistry- Dracut at 978-957-1811 for a consultation. Our dentists will help you decide if this is the right treatment for you.
When you’re ready to begin the process, we’ll use a computer program that digitally maps your smile and allows us to customize a treatment plan for you. Based on this map, a series of custom-made aligners are created and molded to the shape of your teeth.
With traditional braces, multiple office visits are needed to tighten and adjust the braces as the teeth move. With Invisalign® clear braces, you just move through the series of trays as your teeth are being straightened.
For the best results, it’s recommended that you keep your aligners in place for 20-22 hrs/day.
