Headache Treatment
More than 20 million Americans suffer from severe migraine headaches. Studies have shown that people who suffer from migraine and tension headaches clench their teeth while sleeping on average 14 times harder compared to a control group.
Many people who clench their teeth while sleeping awaken every morning with varying degrees of headache pain accompanied by neck, temple, and jaw pain. Grinding and clenching aggravate the trigeminal nerve, a facial nerve that affects 3 areas: the eyes and forehead, upper jaw, and lower jaw.
